Long Term Support Channel Update for ChromeOS

Summary

A new LTC  version 150.0.7871.253 (Platform Version: 16700.63.0 ), is being rolled out for most ChromeOS devices.  This version includes selected security fixes including: 501892500 High CVE-2026-79195 Use after free in Script 537105664 High CVE-2026-84349 Use after free in Browser 540870921 High CVE-2026-78954 Incorrect authorization in Extensions 535876894 Medium CVE-2026-79174 Incorrect authorization in Extensions 523296105 High CVE-2026-79187 Use after free in WebRTC 543707066 High CVE-2026-79274 Information leak in GPU 545820931 High CVE-2026-78952 Out of bounds write in Crashpad 548340637 High CVE-2026-79078 Use after free in FedCM If you have devices in the LTC channel, they will be updated to this version.
